Mandi Lodge
Mandi's career started in amateur theatre in the UK, playing roles such as Annie Oakley in Annie get your Gun, Rita in Educating Rita and various lead and support roles in musicals and plays. This led to Mandi fronting a Cabaret/Rock band which toured the UK and Europe entertaining the troops. She then made the move to become a much sought-after solo performer throughout Europe, later joining the production team on Cruise ships as a Lead vocalist/Dancer.
After three wonderful seasons cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean came the decision to migrate to Australia and the Gold Coast, where she has since gained recognition in GC Arts Centre productions of Blast from the Past, Dancing in the Streets,Beehive, 42nd Street (starring alongside Rob Guest), theatre restaurant shows Sizzling Hits, Lipstick and Tom McSweeney's Timeless - the Music of Gershwin and Porter.
Mandi recently received outstanding critical and audience acclaim for her performance as Mrs Lovett in another Arts Centre musical, Sweeney Todd (again alongside Rob Guest), and has also been successful in Film and TV with roles in Hercules and Mortified, as well as numerous tv commercials.
