Shelly Craft

James MorrisonAs a presenter of Channel Seven’s The Great Outdoors, Shelley Craft believes she has the best job in television.

Shelley’s television career began with a work experience opportunity at Channel Seven Brisbane. This led to a job offer as a production assistant on a local program, and just a few months later, the on-air presenting role with Seven’s children’s program Saturday Disney.

Shelley remained with Saturday Disney for five years before being approached to join The Great Outdoors at the beginning of 2002. Since then, Shelley has travelled extensively throughout the world visiting 21 countries over seven continents.

A keen sportswoman, Shelley Craft also works on many of Channel Seven’s major sporting events. She helped cover the Sydney 2000 Olympics as part of the Sunrise team and in 2002, travelled to the US as a member of the Seven Network’s team covering the XIX Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.

Shelley Craft was involved in Seven’s exclusive coverage of the Melbourne Cup in 2002, 2003 and 2004, hosting the "Loreal Paris, Face that Stops the Nation" promotion. She was also part of the commentary team at the World Aerial Championships in Mt Buller from 2002 to 2004.
